Design and Plans

Proper furniture is generally complex enough that I can't store all the necessary information in my head.  I began drawing so that I could offload the measurements and technical parts of the build and focus on the finer details. At this point I have taught my self numerous programs to help me in this process, these programs include; Fusion 360, Shapr3d, Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator, and the list goes one. I am always looking for better solutions. Nearly everything that I build has a 3D model behind it. Technology is rapidly improving and we are now capable of using 3D models to generate technical drawings and do neat things like show you what a piece of furniture will look like in your house with Augmented Reality. Very cool stuff happening in this part of the work.
